Description
Itch allows you a way to scratch your sound. Usually a bad connection is a bad thing and this is the exception. Itch is a passive device that has two clips and a metal disc on a spindle. Using the clips and disc, you can add real lofi scratchiness to your music. Itch is intended as a momentary effect where you add texture during an intro, a drop, or transition. Also, you can add a scratchy layer to samples as you build loops. The controls put the device inline with a mix knob so you can have a strong or more subdued effect. Besides the metal disc on the effect box, you can use other conductive material such as patch cords, coins, and textured conductive materials to introduce a purposeful bad connection.
