OOTD mean something to you? Want your guitar to drippy drip? Join that world with Guitar Fits. Guitar Fits are a temporary decoration for your guitar. These can be quickly added with no alteration to your guitar. Depending on your pickups, these may even be removable. Click on any picture to zoom in to see detail.

There is a design piece that is intended to fit around part of the pickup and against the guitar body or pickguard. There is a smaller, second piece that fits opposite the pickup. Put the larger piece in place first and fit the smaller piece in place. A drop of glue or adhesive where the smaller piece overlaps the larger piece should keep things in place. A recommendation is to use tape to hold the piece in place and remove them to glue. Please do not put glue on your guitar. CA or super glue would work well as a permanent hold. Hot glue would work and may create a temporary hold. A 3d pen could also work to weild the pieces together though this would put extra material on the Guitar Fit that may conflict with the design or fit. Pickups with covers should be able to friction fit to hold the Guitar Fit in place and be removable. If the pickups do not have covers, then the friction hold will likely be more narrow than the pickup and the fit wil not be removable. In the examples on this page, the neck pickup is used. The bridge pickup cold be used. In that case, rotate the design to fit.

While the temporary nature of the Guitar Fit product is important, note that there is a possibility of dulling the surface due to vibrations. Similar to scuffing that happens on pickguards, scuffing uder the Guitar Fit could happen. Also, since the Guitar Fits are friction fit, there is a possibility of scuffing on the pickup cover or surrounding area. Lastly, if you store this product in a hot environment, such as over 90C or 190F, the product could deform. Guitar Fits are 3d printed PLA plastic and are 2mm thick. The smaller piece is 4mm thick. These are a "two size fits many" design. Please select single coil to fit some of those sizes or select humbucker to fit some of those. Note if your guitar body is countoured or carved on top, guitar fits may not work as they are flat. You can use gentle heating or filing if you need to reshape a Guitar Fit. If applying heat, please remove the Guitar Fit from your instrument. Please do not apply heat to your instrument.
